Yesterday (Saturday August 9th) My wife and I went to Tribe-Blue Jays ball game at the Rogers Centre (as the Skydome is now called these days) with Chris and Sue. The weather wasn't the greatest as it rained most of the day. Fortunately, Rogers Centre is a domed ball park. The Tribe beat the Blue Jays 5-2.
Sue is a long time friend of my wife. She and Chris are both real estate agents and helped us sell my wife's house earlier this year. Chris and I hit it off immediately when I first met him. Turns out that he’s a football and baseball fanatic and he invited me to join a fantasy baseball league, which has a total of 8 players. Unfortunately, like the Tribe, my fantasy team is in last place and is going down in flames. In any case, we had a great time at the ball game. Chris and I made a deal with regard to this game. He would buy the tickets for the ball game in exchange for me buying food and drinks. Fair deal in my book and turned out great.
